Lets celebrate this day with an easy milk barfi. Drenched in the colour of patriotism with this Tiranga Barfi. This Tri colour milk sweet is a hit among all . So try this easy recipe and celebrate the colours of Indian Flag

Ingredients:

1 CUP MILK
2 CUP MILK POWDER
3 TBSP GHEE
1/2 CUP SUGAR
2 TBSP UNSALTED PISTACHIO ( BOILED, PEELED AND PUREED)
3 TBSP DRY COCONUT (FRESH)
A PINCH SAFFRON
1 TBSP WATER

Method:

In a pan add ghee, milk and milk powder and mix everything properly. Now switch on the flame and start cooking till it forms a lump. Now add sugar and cook again till it leaves the sides of the pan. Keep press and rubbing the pan to prevent any lump forming.It will take around 3-4 mins.


Now take this mixture and divide it into 3 portions evenly.
Now for green colour add pistachio mixture, for white add coconut powder or shredded coconut, for saffron colour, add saffron mixture.


Add this mixture to your desired mould.
First add green colour mix then white colour and the saffron colour.

Now leave it for setting for an hour or keep it in refrigerator for 30 mins.
Demould and cut in desired shapes.


Your Tiranga Barfi is ready to be eaten.
